 | Lindner Earns NL's Best Pitcher Honor Wednesday, September 1st, 2010: Will Lindner has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in August and stole away with the National League Pitcher of the Month award. The Rockies bullpen ace collected 5 saves and 15 strikeouts in 13.2 innings, holding the opposition to a .212 average and posting a 1.98 ERA and a 3-0 record. Season-to-date in 49 relief appearances Lindner has rung up 23 saves. He has 74 strikeouts and 9 walks in 59.1 innings while registering a 1.37 ERA and a 8-0 won-lost record.
