 | Martin Earns NL Rookie of Month Wednesday, September 1st, 2010: A veritable toddler to the National League, Jack Martin just sewed up the Rookie of the Month trophy for August. Over the past month the 25-year-old shortstop for San Diego hit .402 with 39 hits, 13 home runs and 27 RBI. He also logged 23 walks and compiled a .521 on-base percentage. In 2010 Martin has hit at a .353 clip with 161 hits, 35 home runs, 89 RBIs and has scored 107 times. |
